Sandwich ELISA KIT是較為靈敏而準確的方式定量某種樣品中的抗原濃度。之所以將其命名為Sandwich ELISA KIT 是因為須由兩種抗體對檢體中抗原進行兩次專一性辨認，因此專一性非常高。再透過分光計測量由酵素反應引起的顏色變化來量化濃度。Sandwich ELISA is a sensitive and accurate way of quantifying antigen concentration in a certain sample type. It is named sandwich ELISA because the antigen of interest is captured by two different antibodies which target the different epitopes within the same protein. The concentration is then quantified by measuring the color change caused by the enzymatic reactions using a spectrometer.
